Race Description:

"La Gesta, is an adventure race commemorating its tenth anniversary, six of which have been celebrated as a member of the ARWS South American Region, hosting the first race of the circuit in 2021 and the South American Championship race in 2023.

Previous editions have featured athletes and teams from all regions of Paraguay, as well as from five other South American countries (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, and Uruguay).

La Gesta is characterized by offering a comprehensive commemorative event that challenges athletes' limits and creates a connection between the sporting spirit, the lush nature, rich history, and characteristic warmth of Paraguay. The race course traverses natural landscapes, waterways, rural trails, and historical areas in the heart of the country.

The winner will automatically qualify for the ARWS South America series final, also organized by La Gesta, which will take place in Paraguay in February 2027.

As a celebration of this decade of adventure, it will undoubtedly be an unforgettable race."

The race programme also includes a football party to watch Paraguay play in the FIFA World Cup the night before the race!
