Race Description:

This race will take place in one of the wildest and most beautiful landscapes in the planet, the Chilean Andes Mountain range Fire Belt. Where the best athletes of the world will row across crystal clear rivers and lakes, they will hike great mountains, and above all, will conquer the summit of an amazing volcano. Orientation will take them across millenary araucaria forests, and peradventure, across the glaciers that surround the area.
A wild, beautiful and true adventure awaits.

The Malacara Race

The Malacara race in Brazil marks the return of the Adventure Racing World Series to Brazil after six years. The team, ranked #3 in the world, overcame challenging conditions and tough competition from top teams across six South American countries to claim victory. The race featured a range of challenges, including paddling on the Parana River, biking through muddy trails, and an abseil down a dam.

Paraguay awaits the finest Adventure Racing Teams in South America at LA GESTA

The second ARWS South American Regional Championship is set to begin this weekend in Paraguay, with 19 elite mixed quartets from 6 countries racing in LA GESTA on a 200km course. This highly competitive event will feature teams from 6 of the 9 South American nations, including the reigning champions, Brazil Multisport. Other top teams to watch include Menetue Ejercito from Chile, Uruguay Ultra Sports, and San Juan Aventura from Argentina.

Tierra Indomita in Chile is a new Adventure Racing World Series Race for 2024

The new expedition race will take place from March 17th to 22nd, 2024, offering 6 days filled with epic challenges and unforgettable landscapes. The adventure will be based in Pucón, which is set in the Chilean Lake District and is now a renowned international centre for adventure sports.
