Thursday September 30th and Friday 1st of October, 2010:
Arrival of teams.
Saturday 2nd of October:
Control of materials, accreditations, photos of teams, official presentation of teams, briefing and maps of the race.
Sunday, 3rd of October:
Start of the BIMBACHE EXTREM CASTILLA Y LEÓN 2010.
Wednesday 6th of October:
First teams arrive to the finish line.
Friday October 8th:
Last teams arrive to the finish line.
Friday 8th of October:
Closing ceremony and
presentation of awards.
Saturday 9th of October:
Return of the teams
REGISTRATION:
•
Registration and bank transfer between 01/01/2010 to 15/03/2010: 2600 euros
•
Registration and bank transfer before 31/12/2009: a discount of10% (2340 euros).
•
Registration and bank transfer between 16/03/2010 to 16/07/2010: an extra charge of 15% (2990 euros).
Includes:
•
Participation in the Bimbache Extrem Castilla y León 2010, the Adventure Race World Championship.
•
Maps of the race.
•
Dvd of video and photos.
•
Closing dinner.
•
A total amount of 80 000 US$ of prizes.
POSSIBILITY OF ASSISTANCE DURING THE RAID:
Before 16/07/2010: 1300 EUROS.
After this date it won't be allowed to ask for the assistance of the organization.
Includes:
•
Half board lodging before and after the raid.
•
Logistics of the race.
•
Transport from and to the airport of Barajas (Madrid).
•
Assistance during the raid.
Since this is a long distance race and the real way is not to be disclosed until the previous night to the start, the “in situ” follow-up by journalists is very difficult.
We rely on a press office that will issue daily communiqués of how the race is developing. Likewise in our web www.raidbimbache.com we will provide during the whole day brief news on the course of the race, behaviour of the teams, etc.
We have also a team of photographers specializing in this type of tests, which will be able to send every day photographies in high or low resolution to anyone requesting them to us.
We have a television producer with several cameras that will be editing daily material for the channels of television and also with the purpose of projecting the final video of the race during the closing ceremony on Friday October 8th.
You will be able to call for complementary information at any hour, since this is a non stop competition both for the teams and for the organization: the effort goes on day and night without interruption. We will inform you about the progression of the first teams, forecast of their passing across the most interesting places, etc …
