5 Boat Changeover
Due to the numerous complaints made by the teams regarding the high cost of the kayak leasing - offered by the local companies of this equipment – and all transportation problems, the organization has chosen to provide free of charge all the events kayaks to all teams alike.
The equipment specifications are:
- Plastic double kayak
- Manufacturer: Caiakers.
- Model: open sit on top.
- Dimensions: Length 3,60 m, Width 0,78 m, Height 0,24 m.
- Weight: 35 kg.
- Capacity: 200 kg.
- Material: Made in polystyrene RA 34-U3 of POLITENO, with light stabilizer agent.
The kayaks will be available at the transition areas – where it will be used – the support crews will not have to transport it during the race. All the logistic regarding it will be the organization responsibility. This way we can guarantee a higher level of technical competitiveness and more financial viability for the teams.
Notice: The use of other kayaks - that not those supplied by the organization - will not be allowed.
